Our LORI has more than 20 years of experience in production and supply bow thruster . Bow thruster or stern thruster is a traversal 

propulsion device built into, or mounted to, either the bow or stern, of a ship or boat, to make it more maneuverable. Bow thrusters

 make docking easier, since they allow the captain to turnthe vessel to port or starboard side, without using the main propulsion 

mechanism which requires some forward motion for turning. Bow thruster widely be used on ferry, tugboat,passenger ships,tanker etc.

We can supply three driven types including Electric motor drive, Hydraulic drive and Diesel engine drive bow thrusters. Also can 

provide CCS,BV,ABS,GL,NK,DNV,LR,RINA classification society certificates.

1. According to the type,power,pole of the prime mover.If the thruster is DP control type or working in ice strengthening sailing area, the corresponding max. power of the thruster should reduce 10%-15% to use.
2. According to the type of prime mover and actual use conditions.
3. According to the condition of hydrodynamic force and design factors.
4. According to the specific scope of supply and design factors.
